This newly created role is your opportunity to take the lead in shaping the marketing story of Crowne Plaza Adelaide Mawson Lakes. Bring our hotel, people, food, events and guest experiences to life through creative campaigns, engaging content and a strong digital presence. As our Marketing Manager, you’ll have the creative freedom to build our presence across digital and social channels, create standout content and deliver campaigns that make an impact. Working closely with our hotel and commercial teams, you’ll see your ideas come to life and play a key role in growing awareness, engagement and revenue.

Part-time | 0.6 FTE. However 0.8 FTE will be considered. A permanent schedule will be agreed to based on your availability and the hotel’s operational requirements.

 

About the Role

The Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering hands-on marketing and strategic coordination across the hotel, ensuring activity supports our commercial objectives and brings the Crowne Plaza brand to life. You’ll lead marketing across digital and social media, content creation, PR, partnerships, events and brand activations, while promoting our key hotel offerings including Aviator Bar and Ember & Vine. You’ll also support growth across accommodation, meetings and events, weddings and social occasions, using creative and commercially focused marketing initiatives to build brand awareness, engage our audiences and drive revenue.

 

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to create, collaborate, capture, connect and make a visible impact across the hotel.

 

Your day to day

  • Be out and about in the hotel – capture content, meet guests, connect with our teams and spot opportunities to tell the hotels story

  • Audit digital channels regularly to ensure photographs, videos, copy and information are current, accurate and on-brand

  • Support the Director of Sales & Marketing – help deliver marketing plans, campaigns and priorities

  • Manage the hotel’s digital presence – keep the website, microsites and Brand.com content current, engaging and on-brand

  • Create compelling content – take photos and videos, create reels, social tiles, ads, newsletters, EDMs and other marketing collateral

  • Manage social media – plan content calendars, create and schedule posts, engage with the community and promote hotel offers, events and experiences

  • Bring the hotel to life – showcase our people, culture, service, events and experiences through creative campaigns and content

  • Promote our venues and experiences – oversee marketing for Aviator Bar, Ember & Vine, accommodation, meetings and events, weddings and social occasions

  • Manage email marketing – create and schedule EDMs, manage databases and segments, support upselling campaigns and track results

  • Monitor marketing performance – use Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile, paid media and campaign reporting to identify opportunities and improve results

  • Coordinate campaigns, events and partnerships – oversee photo shoots, activations, events, influencers, agencies and promotional campaigns

  • Keep everything organised and moving – manage the marketing calendar, update assets and collateral, coordinate suppliers and invoices, maintain systems and jump in on ad-hoc marketing opportunities as they arise.

 

What we need from you

  • Degree / higher education qualification in Marketing, Communications / equivalent in Hotel Management, or related field and/or; 4+ years’ related experience, ideally in hotels, travel, lifestyle or events

  • Ability to create and execute digital marketing strategies and content plans

  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns

  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

  • A hands-on approach—you’re happy to be out in the hotel capturing photos, videos and stories

  • A creative thinker who can turn ideas into engaging content and campaigns

  • Up-to-date with the trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
