Assistant Director of Engineering

Join us as an Assistance Director of Engineering  in Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. 

A little taste of your day-to-day

1. Direct report to Director of Engineering for the management and supervision of all building related systems and the building envelop to ensure the safety of hotel guests, colleagues and vendors.
2. Ensure compliance with company Engineering Assumptions/Culture, preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
3. Review purchase requests and monitor expenses budget to ensure goals are met/exceeded.
4. Assist in the administration of the department by preparing and maintaining schedules, logs, records and other documentation to ensure a smooth operation and minimize liabilities.
5. Responsible for quality service, meeting/ exceeding financial goals, short and long term planning and day to day operations.
6. Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical. mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc.
7. Ensure adherence to all statutory regulations and fire codes by regularly reviewing policies and safety procedures. Ensure that any tests and inspections required on the plant by statutory authorities are carried out as and when required and that all records and documentation associated with such tests and surveys are correctly kept and/or displayed. Ensure that the hotel fulfils all compliance requirements.
8. Ensure a technically competent maintenance staff by selecting, training and developing a motivated, well-qualified maintenance team. Carry out regular work sampling studies within the department and evaluate the performance and productivity of personnel.
9. Respond to guest's maintenance needs promptly and ensure guests receive professional, efficient prompt and courteous service to hotel standards.

What we need from you

1. Diploma or bachelor degree or either Mechanical, Electrical, Civil
2. At least three years in 5 star international hotels at the same role
3. Have advance skill repair maintenance in AC, sound system, electrical control, plumbing and civil
4. Familiar with CAPEX plan according company directions, safety assets protections and sustainable actions
5. Able to operate ACAD
