About this position
Greets guests with warm and friendly greeting and engagement, while introducing them to the room, amenities and outlets of the hotel.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Greets guests with warm and friendly greeting and engagement.
Assists guests with luggage and familiarizes them with their room, amenities and outlets of the hotel.
Maintains an orderly and clean luggage storage room, lobby concierge desk and front entrance.
Duties and Responsibility:
Financial Returns
- Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guest and provide information to guests regarding local attractions and activities.
People
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
Guest Experience
- Welcome all arriving guests; assist guests with front door and unloading luggage from vehicles. Alert management of any suspicious activities or characters.
- Promptly and safely transport luggage to and from guest rooms. May secure, tag and store luggage at guest’s request.
- Assist departing guest with all luggage and transportation needs; invite departing guests back to the hotel and thank them for visiting.
- Coordinating with Valet Attendant regarding taxis, shuttle drivers, or valet parking upon guest request.
- Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances or dissatisfied guests.
Responsible Business
- May regularly inspect and clear the surrounding working areas of litter and debris.
Qualifications and Expectations:
This position requires a minimum of formal education of some high school and a minimum of less than six months job-related experience.
Experience in a high-level service hospitality environment.
