Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for the Club InterContinental (VIP Club Lounge) at the ANA InterContinental. We have the largest Club Lounge in Tokyo and a new floor just opened in September 2024. We are looking for new staff who have a passion for hospitality service. Would you like to work with us in the newly renovated Club Lounge?

Regard each Club InterContinental guests as VIP, providing exceptional service throughout their stay, from check-in to check-out, within the Brand Standards of the hotel. Deliver True Hospitality while overseeing operations to optimize guest satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to and communicates with the Club InterContinental Manager on all pertinent matters concerning guest services, colleagues, and hotel operations.
  • Ensures that IHG One Rewards and InterContinental Ambassador benefits and recognition are provided to all members staying in the hotel.
  • Maintains profile and information of VIPs and regular guests.
  • Performs club operations tasks during assigned shift including but not limited to:
  • Check-in and Check-out as per Brand Standard
  • Room assignments, amenities, special requests to all arriving guests
  • Monthly Upselling Target
  • IHG One Rewards Monthly Enrollment Target
  • Attending to all guests and inter-departmental hotel queries and requests during the shift – Phone, Email, and In-house
  • Supports Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, and Cocktail Service
  • Cash Handling and Banking Procedure
  • Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, uniform, appearance, and grooming based on employee handbook.
  •  Attends Departmental daily operations briefings together with other Club InterContinental Team members, and ensures to be knowledgeable on the hotel’s soft metric scores and target, both daily and month to date

Requirements

  • Fluency in Japanese preferred, with English communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • At least 1 year of practical experience in Rooms Operations and Guest Services is required, with Food and Beverage experience considered an advantage.
  • Open to candidates with equivalent education and experience who bring a passion for hospitality
