Do you see yourself as Director of Food & Beverage at Regent Bali Canggu?

As the Director of Food & Beverage you will hold role in the Food & Beverage Division bring to life the Taste Gallery, Regent’s food and beverage philosophy, in all restaurants, bars and lounges, in-room dining, private dining, destination dining, banqueting, and at the pools and the beach, all of which collectively form the Food & Beverage Division.

Your day to day 

People

  • You will play an active role in recruitment and succession planning, and your tactics will not just only help you to identify the best candidates for the Food & Beverage Division, but to hire and promote only candidates who manifest the Regent people profile and are the most likely to stay with you for the long-haul.
  • You will lead by example, inspire your team to always aim higher and empower them to make decisions within the authority that has been delegated to them. You will implement processes that ensure that all colleagues are knowledgeable about menus and ingredients, food allergies, promotions, and have extensive knowledge about both the resort and the destination, and are adept with the Regent brand.
  • You will contribute to create a guest journey that is relevant to the Regent guest and their ever-evolving needs.  As a stalwart of the Regent brand, you will incorporate the strategic pillars into all touch points, and deliver on Regent’s service philosophy and the Forbes Travel Guide standards in daily operations. You will make sure that all service signatures are in place, and that the brand service behaviors are enshrined into the service delivery on the floor.
  • You will establish and maintain together with the Regent Experience Agents a guest database with preference records of current in-house guests, residence owners and repeat guest, and incentivize the collection of meaningful guest preferences. You will ensure guest preferences are discussed during pre-shift briefings, and that all colleagues in your division are able to recognize important guests, residence owners as well as senior management of our owning company.
  • You will ensure that the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety are implemented and adhered to. You will ensure appropriate storing, handling and serving of food and beverages, and together with the Executive Sous Chef and the Hygiene Manager you will be contributing for achieving and maintaining HACCP certification.
  • You will provide legwork for the development of the Food & Beverage Division’s annual budget and medium-term strategies, as well as establishing together with the Director of Sales & Marketing an annual marketing plans to ensure your division meets its financial targets and drives sustainable, profitable growth. You will develop and maintain a calendar of promotions and activities, and provide content input for marketing materials and initiatives/promotions. You will be responsible for the resort’s festive season program.
  • You will oversee the implementation of policies, checks and incentives to minimize unnecessary expenses such as breakage, spoilage, or spillage. Where possible you will seek to collaborate with suitable partners to reduce expenses through targeted partnerships and promotions without compromising the integrity of the Regent brand and tarnishing the reputation of the resort.
