Your day to day
•Arrange appointments and meetings for the F&B In charged
•Prepare files, reports, correspondence and other relevant business documentation
•Handle general enquiries (i.e. F&B reservation calls and complains)
•Send proposal to F&B outlet inquiries
•Open and sort incoming mails, reply/forward correspondence to the relevant areas accordingly
•Answer incoming telephone calls and either transfer, redirect or take a message
•Monitors incoming mails and reply/forward correspondence to the relevant areas
•Communicates well with all F&B outlets and related departments to ensure effective shift hand-overs
•Coordinates with all the outlet managers accordingly
•Coordinates and keep track with Human Resources with the contract renewals and appraisals with all F&B staff
• Arrange contracts for entertainment (i.e. Band, singers, etc.)
• Handles entertainment requests and approval (i.e. dine-in, vouchers, cakes, etc.)
• Takes responsibility for the booking of major events such as Christmas and
New Year and to be present on the event
•Assist guests and escort them to locations within the hotel at their request
•Maintains current Hotel information and F&B promotions to be able to provide information to guests
• Maintains positive relationships with all internal customers and guests in order to exceed their needs and take action to address these needs in order to exceed their expectations and report problems to Management with suggestions for resolution
• Attends the F&B daily briefing
• Update the Time Lieu excel sheet and summary report to be submitted to Human 19. Resources department on a monthly basis
• Interact with department and hotel staff in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two way communication
• Maintain general filing systems
• Actively participate in organized meetings
• Work in line with business requirements
Performs related duties, special projects and complete tasks as assigned and directed by the Management
What we need from you
•To present a good image by providing a courteous and professional service and by handling guest enquiries graciously and efficiently
•Maintain knowledge of special programs and events in the hotel in order to recognize and respond to guests needs
•Maintains a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests
•To ensure that all operating standards comply with Company and Hotel Policies and Procedures and Minimum Standards.
•To ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel's policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
•To respond to changes in departmental functions as dictated by the industry, the company, or the hotel.
•To maintain health and safety standards of the hotel by reporting all health and safety and security violations for immediate action.
•Well aware of CP-Bahrain FLS Manual.
•To be well aware of Fire and BT evacuation plan & assembly point.
•In charge for all purchases in FBM for general store and direct requisitions for all the outlets
•In charge of purchases of operational equipment with close coordination with Purchasing department, Finance and the supplier
