As Executive Housekeeper, you will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses Ibiza to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.

Duties and Responsibilities

As Executive Housekeeper, you will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Housekeeping department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Ensure that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.
• Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
• Ensures guestrooms, public areas and Hosts areas are cleaned according to operating standards.
  • Initiates and maintains an effective inspection program including rooms, public areas, locker areas, storage areas, laundry areas, etc.
• Supervises and approves the budgeting and ordering of guestroom and cleaning supplies.
  • Manages areas of operation to budget by reviewing operating statements, budget worksheets and payroll progress reports.
  • Manages department controllable expenses and cost per occupied room to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
• Support the Rooms Operations Manager and focus on the rejuvenation of the rooms, residences, public areas and laundry experience.
• Room amenities, services and products will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
• Work in partnership with Front of House, Residences, Reservations, Culinary and F&B to ensure guest’s needs are determined and met and oversee the overall smooth operation of Housekeeping department.
• Administer all housekeeping and laundry facilities and ensure secure environment for all our guests.
   
• Purchasing practices will meet the requirements of the Six Senses sustainability platform, while stocktakes and storage assessment will be undertaken at the required times to ensure all stock is on hand, properly stored and in line with Six Senses standards.
• Directs Hosts to strive for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
• Interviews and hires management and hourly employees with the appropriate skills to meet the Six Senses Ibiza's needs of the operation.
• To be responsible for an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. In the event of guest complaints, I will effectively carry out service recovery or charge our hosts to do so to the satisfaction of guests.

Qualification

To execute the position of Executive Housekeeper, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and including the following:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel or Business Management.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. 
• In terms of housekeeping management, intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer.
• Technical skills include Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including OPERA platforms. I have the knowledge of hotel/resort and policies on room allocation etc.
• Fluent in English and good at Spanish.
• Valid Spanish Work permit or European Union citizenship is required for this role.
