At Holiday Inn Algiers – Cheraga Towers, we are looking for a dynamic Finance and Business Support Manager to oversee the hotel's financial operations and support its strategic objectives. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead and develop the Finance team, ensure compliance with IHG standards and local regulations, drive financial performance, and provide sound commercial and financial guidance to the leadership team. A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Managing and coaching your team to ensure the right person is always in the right place and on the right task
• Ensuring high standards of accounting practices and maintaining effective financial control procedures in line with IHG standards and local requirements
• Maximising financial performance through financial analysis, data trends, market information, and effective budgeting and forecasting
• Supporting the General Manager and leadership team with accurate financial information, business analysis, and recommendations to support informed decision-making
• Monitoring the hotel's financial performance and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and business results
• Overseeing key Finance and Business Support activities, including Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Payroll, and other accounting functions
• Ensuring effective controls over cash, inventory, purchasing, and financial transactions
• Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and business projections
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and IHG policies and procedures

What we need from you

• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4-8 years’ experience in hotel accounting or finance, with relevant supervisory or management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Strong knowledge of hotel finance and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, payroll, purchasing, cash management, and internal controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial information into practical business recommendations
• Good understanding of local accounting, tax, and statutory requirements
• Professional accounting or finance designation or certification is preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) is required
