Key responsibilities include:

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis 

  • Ensure compliance with hotel accounting standards, brand policies, and statutory requirements 
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies 
  • Support year-end closing, audits, and statutory reporting 

Oversee and review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets 

  • Monitor daily revenue postings, night audit reports, and income audit accuracy 
  • Support cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and treasury controls 
  • Ensure proper controls over cash handling, petty cash, and banking procedures 

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections 

  • Monitor departmental costs and highlight cost control opportunities 
  • Support purchasing and inventory controls in line with hotel policies 

Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and segregation of duties

Responsible Business & Compliance

All operations will be conducted ethically, transparently, and in compliance with local laws and company policies. I will ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, hosts, and assets while maintaining positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.

What we need from you

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in an Accounting and Finance related field. 
  • Have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience working within a finance leadership role within a hotel environment.
  • Have strong people skills and demonstrated performance leading a successful team.
  • Also need strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Have a goal-driven individual with high attention to detail, have the ability to think critically and make effective strategic business decisions.
  • A proven track record of adhering to budgets.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
