Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner.
  • Assist guests with seating and provide menu information when required.
  • Ensure proper setup and cleanliness of restaurant, buffet, and service areas.
  • Serve food and beverages as per hotel service standards.
  • Refill buffet items and maintain presentation during breakfast service.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints politely and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, crockery, cutlery, and service stations.
  • Follow hygiene, grooming, and food safety standards at all times.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and housekeeping teams for smooth operations.
  • Ensure accurate billing and cash handling procedures if assigned.
  • Support inventory control and minimize wastage.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, SOPs, and brand standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and guest-focused approach.
  • Basic knowledge of food & beverage service.
  • Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team player with good coordination skills.
  • Basic English speaking skills preferred.

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass
  • Diploma or certification in Hotel Management is preferred.

Experience

  • Fresher or 0–2 years of experience in hotel or restaurant service preferred.
