Your day-to-day:

  • Reporting to the Laundry Manager, Laundry Supervisor supports the Manager with all the below duties 
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of the laundry facility, including receiving, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packaging of laundry items. 
  • Plan and organize workflow, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality standards. 
  • Monitor and control equipment operation, maintenance, and repairs, and coordinate with technical staff when needed. 
  • Inspect finished laundry items for cleanliness, stains, damages, or other issues, and take appropriate corrective actions. 
  • Monitor the performance of laundry equipment, troubleshoot any problems, and coordinate repairs or replacements. 
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of laundry supplies, detergents, fabric softeners, and other consumables. 
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste, loss, or theft. 
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and effectively. 
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve any laundry-related issues and provide exceptional service to clients. 
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement proper safety protocols in the laundry facility. 
  • Train staff on safe operating procedures, handling of chemicals, and use of personal protective equipment. 
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.  
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including production reports, inventory records, and maintenance logs. 
  • Prepare regular reports on productivity, quality, and other key performance indicators for management review. 
  • Supervise and lead a team of laundry staff
  • Assign duties and responsibilities, provide training and guidance. 
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork
     

 

What we need from you:

  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. 
  • Good English communication skills are essential both oral and written.
  • Experience with Hotel Property Management System, Opera. 
  • Proactive with a meticulous eye for detail, Strong organizational, supervisory, and communication skills
  • Able to convey information and ideas clearly (Communication)
  • Effective at listening, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and Guests
  • Must be able to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work well with limited supervision
