Duties and Responsibilities
As  Reservations Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Reservations department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.

The duties and responsibilities will include: 
•    Continually focus on revenue generation and profile building for our resort and spa and for Six Senses.  
•    Be responsible for the setup of PMS & CRS to guide and evaluate the room selling strategies.  
•    Check the inventory availability, pricing and daily fluctuations that will be discussed with the Director of Revenue  (DOR) and coordinated with the reservations team for selling guidelines. 
•    Have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the hotel including type of rooms available as well as their location and layout, selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans, credit policy of the hotel and reservation coding.  
•    Decide and implement free allotment releases and close outs for the resorts by category and update this information in all channels to gain maximum effect and maintain a smooth selling process.  
•     I will countercheck all reservations daily to ensure they are completed with all necessary guest information, profile information and rate/market/source codes. 
•    Continually focus on reviewing cancellations, adjustments, no-shows as well as groups, blocks and allotments.  
•    Ensure that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced. 
•    Supervise and direct Reservations hosts in their day-to-day responsibilities. 
•    Ensure Reservations hosts’ checklist is completed daily and other assigned tasks. 
•    Assign Reservations hosts to respond promptly to incoming correspondence.  
•    Assist and handles all trainings regarding Reservations. 
•    Keep control on travel agent allotment.  
•    Supervise and assist in all allocation of rooms. 
•    Ensure Reservations hosts are familiar with all guest rooms, spa, dinning and selling techniques, resort facilities, services, hours of operation, key personnel, special activities, functions in the hotel and to ensure proper follow up on all special guest requests. 
•    Ensure Reservations hosts run daily reports for Reservation department, operational departments, Sales & Marketing.  
•    Process new reservations, update and clean up reservations, process advance deposits, answer reservations inbox emails within 24 hours, process reports (No Shows, ORS Comments, Commission, etc.) and other reservation related duties as assigned. 
•    Assist in determine room rates based on the selling tactics of the resort.  
•    Assist the Director of Revenue to achieve the maximum possible occupancy and average room rate to meet forecasted and budgeted figures.  
•    Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded. 
•    Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

 

Qualifications
To execute the position of Reservations Manager, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following: 
•    At least 3 years similar role experience including reservations/front office management
•    Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
•    Fluent in English & Turkish; I understand that additional languages are preferred
•    Proficiency in using Opera
•    Experience working in a luxury hotel chain will be an advantage.
