At InterContinental, we are looking to recruit a Full-Time enthusiastic Senior Food & Beverage Hostess to oversee, enhance, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
As a Senior Hostess, you will take a leading role within the hosting team, ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining service excellence, and supporting the development and training of Host/Hostess team members. You will foster a positive and respectful relationship with colleagues while engaging with guests in a professional and welcoming manner.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance, setting the standard for the team.
- Escort guests to their assigned tables, considering preferences and reservation details.
- Ensure guests are comfortably seated and satisfied with arrangements.
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to brand and hospitality protocols in all guest interactions.
Supervision & Team Leadership
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Host/Hostess team.
- Conduct on-the-job training and onboarding for new Host/Hostess team members.
- Monitor grooming, punctuality, and performance, providing constructive feedback.
- Lead by example to ensure a positive, motivated, and service-oriented team environment.
- Assist in evaluating team performance and identifying development needs.
Operations & Administration
- Oversee reservation systems, ensuring bookings and seating charts are accurately managed.
- Coordinate closely with Restaurant Managers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Monitor table allocation strategies to optimize service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with data handling and confidentiality procedures.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, ensuring readiness for service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel or high-volume restaurant environment.
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience will be considered an asset.
- Excellent English, both written and verbal; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent understanding of customer service and luxury hospitality standards.
- Well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Available to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
