InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Beyond cleanliness, you’ll provide an experience. Consistently offer professional, warm, and engaging service, ensuring every guest feels like a VIP from the moment they arrive. 
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring that the housekeeping department runs seamlessly. From attention to detail to anticipating guest needs, you’ll guarantee the highest service standards.
•  Conduct daily inspections of vacant, checked-out, and occupied guest rooms, supervising and supporting a team of 4–5 Room Attendants, both individually and as part of a coordinated team.
• Perform daily deep-cleaning and housekeeping quality audits for each Room Attendant, ensuring compliance with IHG brand standards, luxury service expectations, and departmental SOPs.
•  Maintain full operational flexibility and availability to work across Morning, Afternoon/Evening, and Night shifts according to business requirements.
• Carry out weekly Focus Point inspections to ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and guestroom readiness.
• Conduct thorough inspections of Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) rooms, identifying and reporting maintenance snags, defects, and deep-cleaning requirements for timely resolution.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across lift landings, elevator doors, guest corridors, chute rooms, and garbage rooms within the assigned floor area.
• Ensure all assigned areas consistently meet luxury five-star hospitality standards, with strong attention to detail, cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and guest comfort. Assist in creating efficient departmental schedules that not only meet operational demands but also promote team well-being. 
• Actively participate in daily briefings, warm-up sessions, and departmental meetings. You’ll also keep detailed records of their progress and development.
• Ensure the team is always prepared and aware of the day’s priorities, so no detail is overlooked. 
• Enforce and uphold the hotel’s policies and procedures to ensure cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards never slip. 
• Identify and report any maintenance needs to the Engineering department, ensuring that issues are swiftly addressed without affecting the guest experience. 
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies, ensuring both guests and colleagues enjoy a safe, healthy, and pristine environment. Your commitment to safety will be as steadfast as your commitment to luxury.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a housekeeping supervisor role at a five-star hotel.
• Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Opera PMS.
• A sharp eye for detail and perfection in every task.
• Be comfortable with rotational shifts
• Ability to motivate, guide, and inspire a high-performing team.
