The Role

As the Localisation Specialist you will support the execution of the marketing campaigns in Germany with local language, German tone of voice and right choice of any visible items like pictures, videos etc. to ensure it drives measurable contribution to brand, loyalty and revenue performance.

A snapshot of the role responsibilities: 

Support the planning, set up, translation and launch of any campaign marketing activation in the German feeder market to promote IHG Hotels & Resorts or any other brand withing the portfolio. 

  • Optimise campaigns by using the right terminology and German language to ensure visibility and success.
  • Monitor results of campaign in markets as well as performance of copy and creatives.
  • Monitor local assets in language to ensure performance benchmarks are met.
  • Ensure wording, transcreation and visuals speak to the brand audience.
  • Collaborate and work with the Omni Channels team as well as the digital teams in Europe to ensure German market requirements are met.

 

What we need from you

The chosen candidate will possess the following:

  • Fluent German and English language skills - This is an absolute requirement for this role. 
  • Solid experience in campaign management, preferably in the hotel, hospitality, or tourism industry within a large multinational company.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with or in a translation agency with an understanding of translation & local adaptation processes.
  • Knowledge and experience with German media landscape with a strong focus on digital
  • Knowledge of consumer behaviours & tone of voice models 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

We would love it if you also had: 

  • Deep understanding of hospitality and IHG’s organisation 
  • Creative Agency experience
