  • Meetings & Events Management

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the event planning process.

  • Conduct site inspections and client meetings to promote the hotel’s meeting facilities.

  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs) in coordination with relevant departments.

  • Ensure all event requirements are properly communicated to operations teams.

  • Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and key accounts.

  • Ensure prompt and professional response to client inquiries and requests.

  • Address client concerns and provide timely solutions to ensure satisfaction.

  • Revenue Generation

  • Assist in achieving departmental revenue targets for meetings and events.

  • Identify opportunities to upsell meeting packages, banquet services, and event add-ons.

  • Monitor booking pace and contribute to the growth of the meetings and events segment.

  • Coordination with Internal Departments

  • Work closely with Banquets, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering to ensure smooth event execution.

  • Attend pre-convention and operational meetings to align all departments involved in events.

  • Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of event details, contracts, and client communications.

  • Prepare reports on bookings, event revenues, and client feedback.

  • Ensure compliance with IHG policies, procedures, and brand standards.


  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in meetings, events, or hotel sales coordination.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of IHG systems and Crowne Plaza Meetings standards is an advantage.
