Brand Marketing Manager/Senior Manager, InterContinental

This is an exciting role that will support the continued development and success of the InterContinental brand in GC and lead branding and activation support for hotels.

Your day to day

• Lead InterContinental brand strategy and annual brand plan development & implementation for GC with market nuances.
• Lead the brand communication strategy and plan in Greater China, work closely with PR, media & content team, loyalty, transient marketing, and commercial team to ensure integrated marketing activities delivered.
• Lead InterContinental new brand differentiators rolling out and implementation at hotel level.
• Lead InterContinental new brand service program launch.
• Lead NHOP branding process for InterContinental and ensure each property opens on brand on time.
• Work with finance and procurement to make sure contracts and Pos compliant with process; and payment to vendors in time

What we need from you

• At least 8 years experience in marketing and brand management. Experience in hospitality industry is preferred. High-end/Premium/Luxury category experience is a plus.
• Experience in project management across multifunctional teams both internal and external
• Budget responsibility
• Strong marketing capabilities, consumer-oriented and market understanding
• Ability to communicate and story tell in a luxury tone
• Strong verbal and written presentation and communication skills
• Fluency in verbal and written English and Mandarin; Proficiency in PowerPoint
• Ability to analyze, interpret and extract trends from data, consumer insights to formulate strategies
• Strong passion and interest in hospitality or travel-related industry
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international degree in Marketing, Business or Commerce
