Your day to day

Coordination and Supervision:

Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department.

Coordinate and assign tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Monitor staff performance, provide guidance, and address any performance issues.

Schedule and organize work assignments to ensure appropriate coverage and efficiency.

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to maintain cleanliness standards.

 

Guest Satisfaction:

Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests, concerns, and complaints.

Ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained according to established standards.

Coordinate special guest requests, such as extra amenities or specific room setups.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure guest rooms are properly stocked with supplies.

 

Inventory and Supplies:

Maintain accurate inventory of linen, supplies, and cleaning equipment.

Coordinate with the procurement department to order necessary housekeeping supplies.

Monitor and control housekeeping expenses, ensuring budget guidelines are met.

 

Training and Development:

Train and onboard new housekeeping staff, ensuring they understand hotel policies and procedures.

Provide ongoing training to existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Conduct regular meetings to communicate updates, new procedures, and departmental goals.

 

Health and Safety:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.

Coordinate with the maintenance department to address any maintenance issues.

Implement and enforce proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.


What we need from you

Years of Experience: Min 2 - Max 3 

Languages Required: English
