The first Hotel Indigo to be launched in Australia, Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets comprises 145 guest rooms, a lively restaurant- Market & Meander, and the iconic rooftop bar- Merrymaker, with panoramic views of Adelaide, we are setting the trend for local dining and cosmic cocktails!

Keeping our hotel running smoothly is vital to our guest's experience – working alongside our Maintenance Manager, you'll keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork. From simple repairs to forward-thinking for the next day. With naturally high standards to support our own, you’ll approach every task with dedication and pride.

You'll be the go-to person when it comes to performing routine & preventative maintenance for the Hotel's equipment and facilities. 

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Conducting routine and preventative maintenance for the hotel equipment and facilities, including a gym, pool and pool pump
• Handling maintenance requests with efficiency and professionalism
• Taking responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside of the hotel
• Documenting and maintaining maintenance records and hazard identification
• Build strong working relationships with the wider hotel team to ensure every guest leaves with great memories

What we need from you:

At Hotel Indigo we look for people who are energetic, approachable and cultured with a sense of fun; always curious to discover more and share thoughtful suggestions with our guests. 

You'll also have:

• Demonstrated experience in general maintenance, engineering and/or construction
• Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
• A keen eye for detail and passion for achieving results, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload 
• Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
• Flexibility – our worksite is a 24/7 operating business; weekends, mornings, nights and public holidays are all part of the job
• Must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions
