Mechanic – Buggy and Boats – Six Senses Kanuhura

Duties and Responsibilities 
As Mechanic – Buggy and Boats, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following: 
•    Evaluates mechanical, electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer and materials. 
•    Mtce and repairing of vehicles like Buggy, Marine engines, and Pickup etc.   
•    In depth practical knowledge on battery buggy controls and accessories. 
•    Familiar on all outboard and inboard marine engines. 
•    Develops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements. 
•    Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; tests finished product and system capabilities; confirms fabrication, assembly, and installation processes. 
•    Controls maintenance tools, stores and equipment and ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns. 
•    Keeps record of assignments and produce detailed work reports. 
•    Maintains working area and makes sure that all working areas always remain clean. 
•    Uses personal safety wares for personal safety while on duty. 
•    Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded. 
•    Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments. 

Qualifications
To execute the position of Mechanic – Buggy and Boats, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

•    High school diploma or equivalent and/or valid license to practice mechanical engineering and at least 1 year experience in a similar setting. 
•    Technical skills include the ability to analyze and design projects of limited complexity and scope. Knowledge in blueprint reading and installing of machines, wiring and equipment and basic mechanical skills are mandatory.
•    Fluent in English;
